• Provide ample organic matter
• Sow in early spring under cover with warmth one seed per pot at a depth of 2.5cm
• Harden off once all danger of frost as passed
• Direct sow outside once the soil temperature reaches 10°C
• Provide support for plants to climb, canes, wire, netting etc
• Water regularly while flowers are setting
• Pick regularly to encourage the plant to keep flowering
