A classic cottage garden herbaceous border perennial. Clusters of brilliant scarlet, white and pink flowers are held up all summer. You can cut back after the first flowering to encourage a second burst of colour. This easy to grow plant is also known as Maltese Cross or Jerusalem Cross. - Sow undercover early spring to middle of July, if sown very late they will probably flower the next year. They will survive all but the harshest of winters
- Planting depth: 3mm
- Optimum temperature: Min 15°C
- Prick out when large enough to handle
- Harden off and plant out after all danger of frost has passed
- Light: Full sun or partial shade
