• Sow undercover with warmth early spring
• Press seeds in but do not cover. Light is required for germination
• Temperature: 20-30°C
• Days to germination: 5-21
• When large enough to handle transplant to pots or trays and grow on in cooler conditions
• Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions once all danger of frost has passed
• Can be sown direct outside from May to June in most areas
• Plants will readily self-seed if left to go to seed
• Soil: Well drained
