A leaf of many names, Corn Salad, Lambs Lettuce, Mache, Fetticus and Dutch Corn! Easy to grow and a delicious addition to any salad. Use large leaves raw, or as a herb, you can even cook it as you would spinach. It is not a lover of hot weather so make sure it has some afternoon shade in the summer months. • Sow seeds direct outside from early spring through to autumn in drills
• Sowing depth: 12mm
• When large enough to handle thin to 10cm
• Succession sow every three weeks for continual harvest
• Keep watered during dry spells
• To harvest pull every other plant and then take the outer leaves from the remaining plants
