Can be planted in trays under cover for an earlier crop. Once pencil sized remove the top third of foliage and reduce the roots by one third and transplant into premade holes that are 10-15cm deep. Carefully earth up as they grow but be sure not to get soil in between the leaves. Harvest alternate plants when large enough for use.
