• Sow seeds from March to June. Can be sown directly outside from April onwards
• Sow seeds 6mm deep. Keep the seed compost moist and use a propagator or a warm windowsill
• Minimum temperature 21°C
• Days to germination: 5-10
• Light: Full sun
• Transplant before seedlings are 5 weeks old, older seedlings do not transplant well
• Plant spacing: 46cm
• Row spacing: 60cm
• Water well in dry spells, critical throughout the growing season
