• Sow under cover with warmth 8 – 10 weeks prior to your last expected frost
• Can be sown late spring under glass
• Temperature required: 15-20°C
• Surface sow ensuring good contact with sowing medium
• Do not cover as they need light to germinate
• Days to germination: 7-21
• Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and grow on
• Acclimatise to outside conditions
• Prefers cool summer conditions so keep out of the hottest mid-summer heat
